API
API is an interface that allows different software systems to communicate with each other. Buvei provides an API for seamless integration with your existing systems (such as financial or ERP systems).

BIN
The bank identification number, made up of the first six digits of a credit card, determines its type and issuing bank.
Burner Card
A one-time use VCC, typically used for trials and anonymous payments.

Compliance
The process of ensuring that a business complies with all relevant laws and regulations. In Buvei, compliance is integral to services such as travel bookings, expense management, and reimbursements.

High-weight BIN
Card number segments that have a high approval rate and are less likely to be flagged by fraud detection systems.

Low-weight BIN
Card number segments that are more likely to be rejected or flagged by fraud detection systems.

Reusable Card
A VCC that can be recharged and used multiple times.
V
VCC
Virtual Credit Card, a type of credit card that is not physically issued, often used for online transactions.
W
With 3D (3DS)
A Virtual Credit Card that requires SMS or dynamic verification, offering higher security but more restrictions.
Without 3D (No 3DS)
A Virtual Credit Card that does not require SMS verification, suitable for automatic payments.
